Did you know that the processing accuracy of slow wire traveling is higher than that of fast wire traveling?
First, electrode wire: Fast-moving wire uses reciprocating molybdenum wire. When processed for a long time, the wire diameter decreases and the processing size becomes larger. Slow-travel wire uses disposable copper wire or galvanized wire, which only discharges once from the workpiece and cannot be used reciprocally.Second, the screw and guide rail detection of machine tools: fast moving wire does not have a closed-loop detection function. The slow moving wire is detected by a grating ruler. If the moving distance does not reach the predetermined size, the grating ruler will detect it and allow the screw motor to continue rotating to reach the predetermined position.Third wire guide: The positioning of the fast-traveling electrode wire is based on the guide wheel. When the guide wheel rotates at high speed, there will be axial and radial jumps, resulting in a decrease in accuracy and smoothness. Slow wire walking uses a diamond wire guide or a gemstone wire guide. The wire guide itself is fixed on the upper and lower stage heads and does not cause wire shake. The fourth multi-pass processing: Fast wire walking can only be processed once, and the material will be slightly deformed after processing. Slow wire cutting can be processed in multiple passes. The material will release stress after rough cutting, and the deformation will be smaller during fine cutting, achieving high precision.Ways to reduce relative loss of tool electrodes:1. Choose the polarity of the electrode correctly. When finishing with short pulse width, choose positive polarity for machining and connect the workpiece to the positive pole; when machining with long pulse width, choose negative polarity for machining and connect the workpiece to the negative pole.2. Correct choice of electrode material. Choose materials with high melting points and high boiling points, and materials with good thermal conductivity. Graphite and pure copper are commonly used as electrode materials.3. Correctly select the pulse width electrical parameters.4. The adsorption effect of the processing process is used to compensate and reduce electrode loss. Carbon black is usually only formed on the positive electrode. The tool should be connected to the positive electrode to reduce electrode loss.Affects electric sparksThe size and consistency of the discharge gap, the loss of the tool electrode and its stability.electrolysisWorkpiece material, tool cathode material, machining gap, electrolyte performance and technical parameters of electrolytic DC power supply.UltrasoundIn addition to being affected by the accuracy of machine tools and fixtures, it is mainly related to abrasive particle size, tool accuracy and wear, tool lateral vibration size, processing depth, properties of the material being processed, etc.
