Tungsten Heavy Alloy W97NiFe Components

High specific gravity tungsten alloy is a type of alloy with tungsten as the matrix (W content 85-99%) and supplemented with elements such as Ni, Cu, Co, Mo and Cr.

According to the composition characteristics and applications of the alloy, it is divided into main series such as W-Ni-Fe, W-Ni-Cu, W-Co, W-WC-Cu, W-Ag, etc. Its density is as high as 16.5 -19.0g/cm ³, and it is called a high specific gravity alloy by the world.

It also has a series of excellent properties. High specific gravity: the general specific gravity is 16.5-18.75g/cm ³. High strength: the tensile strength is 700-1000Mpa. Strong radiation absorption capacity: its capacity is 30-40% higher than that of lead. High thermal conductivity: it is five times that of die steel. Small coefficient of thermal expansion: only 1/2-1/3 of that of iron or steel, and good electrical conductivity. It has good solderability and processability. Due to the excellent properties of high-density alloys mentioned above, they are widely used in industries such as aerospace, aviation, military, oil drilling, electrical instruments, and medicine.
